Cops, paramedic teams and the Southend-on-Sea Coastguard arrived at the incident at 10. 15am. An air ambulance was dispatched to the area and Southend RNLI also launched its lifeboat at 11am. However, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene on Chalkwell beach.
